This color palette is inspired by time on the remote southwestern coast of Australia.  This piece is the result of several layers including a cloudy maritime alcohol ink underpainting, fluid acrylics mixed with mica and other powder pigments in the middle creating the effects and textures, with dry brushing and painted details adding depth to the top layer. The metallic pigments glimmer in natural light. The sides are finished, this piece will look best wtih no frame.  18x24 gallery wrapped high depth canvas.
