This piece reminded me of surfacing after a long dive in a “blue hole” looking for nautilus in Palau.  After your eyes are adjusted to the dark, the silver light appears as you ascend revealing you all the texture of the water’s surface and the invertebrates on the walls glimmer.  
Comes professionally varnished so it will be colorfast and easy to clean. The sides are part of the painting, no frame is needed. 12x16 gallery wrapped 1.5" deep canvas.
